Dangerous goods travel under the ADR agreement, which sets how they are packed, labelled, documented and loaded. Getting this wrong is not a paperwork problem — the truck is turned back at the border or refused at the gate.
Tell us this before anything else
- The UN number and packing group
- The ADR class and, where relevant, the classification code
- Net quantity per package and the total for the consignment
- Whether a safety data sheet is available
Why the quantity matters
Below certain thresholds a consignment can travel under limited-quantity rules and can often be consolidated with other goods. Above them it needs a dedicated ADR vehicle and a driver with the right certificate, which changes the price. We will tell you which applies before you commit.
